Colour workshop with Anais Tondeur-Brave New Alps week at the RCA-
Organised by "Brave New Alps" (Brave New Alps are Bianca Elzenbaumer and Fabio Franz, second year students in Communication at RCA), stop.swap is a series of cross-departmental skills workshops and talks happening this week in the Hockney Gallery at RCA.
Last Wednesday the 7th of October 09, I was invited by my friend Anais Tondeur to organize with her a workshop on colours and textures to a few students from communication, product design, architecture and textile. So we have done a few exercises together, painting basic squares of colours, understanding a textural dimension of a colour, and extracting a colour palette as well as a sensitive approach from one picture.
